The Industrial Truck Association (ITA) recognized the second Tuesday of every June as National forklift Safety Day. Its purpose is the annual reminder of the importance of safe use of forklifts, proper training of operators and regular inspection of equipment. Yale Europe Materials Handling, a member of ITA, strongly supports this initiative!
Forklifts are an integral part of industry and commerce around the world. Forklift operators transport products from a warehouse to a truck or to a loading dock, moving goods around the world. Without operators, much of the work required to move palletized products would be time consuming and extremely dangerous. Forklifts lift weights, but when lifting heavy loads, safety becomes paramount.
TITOPOULOS PERONOFORA, the exclusive representative of Yale forklifts in Greece, recognizing the importance of safety at work, offers the possibility of free attendance on hands-on seminars for use and basic maintenance of forklifts at the company's facilities in Inofyta, Boeotia. This activity will take place from June 14 to July 14, 2022 and participants will be given an A3 poster with the basic instructions for operating a forklift at work. "Education is an important factor that helps reduce the number of injuries and deaths in the workplace," said Pantelis Titopoulos, President and CEO of ANYMI Ltd. "We believe that with this initiative we contribute to improving the safety of every employee in the field of logistics."
